There are so many cameras on the market. Which one should you choose? I am recommending two, the FlipHD and the Kodak Zi8. Watch the video to hear the differences in the two cameras.

Hey Beverly,
I have the flip cam, a camcorder and sometimes I use my Mac book pro with in built camera.
I love the flip cam although don’t use it as much as the other cameras I’ve got.
I prefer to put my camera on a big tripod rather than hold it but when I record video’s outside, I take my flip cam as it’s light weight, and doesn’t take up much space.
Video is very important and it’s never been easier to add video’s to your blog as it is now.
The ONLY thing in my mind that’s stopping people adding video to their sites is a lack of confidence in their own ability…
BUT… we’ve all got to start somewhere and NOW is the time to do it. People will get better with practice. My first video’s were terribly when I look back on them, but hey… I learned and changed my approach.

One thing that people have to be cautious of is that .mov files are not compatable with windows movie maker on windows xp. There is a work around for getting them to open in movie maker on vista (and movie maker is all but missing on win7 so that’s a different topic). The .mov file type has limitations. However the external mic port is indeed awesome.
