Video Marketing

If you are wanting to get into video marketing, you may have said to yourself,”What would I say on my videos”? I was concerned about that at the beginning too. I was stiff and very picky about everything. The more I have done, the more relaxed I have become. I have been told by friends that they can see how I have become more relaxed in my videos over time.
So my first suggestions is….

#1-Make an introduction video telling your visitors about you. That should be easy because nobody knows you better than you! Talk to the camera like you would talk to a new friend. If they asked you,”Tell me about you. What do you do?” Think about what you would say and video it. It doesn’t have to be perfect. You don’t want it to be perfect just clear.

#2- If you have a niche or company that you want to promote, make a video about it. People can see and feel your passion in videos. So talk about your niche, product or company.Show your excitement or passion.

#3- Make at least one video a day at the beginning because the more you do the more relaxed you will become in front of the camera.

#4- Every heard the phrase,”There’s an Elephant in the room”? This refers to something everyone is aware of but no one wants to talk about it. This can include unscrupulous marketing techniques, false nutrition claims, or any other “elephants” that make it hard for you to do your business. By you taking these on you will show confidence and boldness in your self, your business, and knowledge about your profession.

#5- The Review
People love to get reviews…and some magazines have built entire circulations around them. What do you review: products, lead generation services, marketing tactics, training programs, books, movies, etc.

#6- The 800 Pound Gorilla
There are big forces in our world and our market for our businesses. Some forces are big name people creating credibility and momentum, and others are just up and coming challenges. Identify these big players for your people and show your understanding of the world as it relates to your business. If you can interview them, what a great video. I use ooVoo to record interviews.

#7-The News Report and Commentary
Perhaps you read the news/headlines quickly and can assimilate the info quickly as well. This is a skill many do not have. Share your views and your perspective in a concise way.Perhaps add background info that other news outlets are missing. People will look at you as a person that knows or has great opinions. People will follow people that share good information.

#8- The Resource List
People love lists. Like I am doing now. They are used widely on blogs. Don’t limit yourself to Top 10.Use a variable…top 3 or top 100.
Ideas: The top five mistakes a network marketing person makes when starting out…
Three things I learned the hard way about this industry…
The top 10 reasons I love what I do…
Nine little habits that can change your life for the better…
Your personality can shine through these lists! Its really fun!

The main thing is…Just Do It! Have fun and send me your links to your videos.

hi Beverly, I just RT’d your post. It’s a good one! Gives people some great idea’s.

I used to do 5 video’s on a monday morning, and then upload them through the week. It makes it easier if you can do your video’s in batches definitely.

How do you find it? Would you agree?

I think you should have a “Video Day” where you shoot several in one day.Have a change of shirts so it doesn’t look like you did them in one day. Thanks for the comment and question. Have a great day Gavin!
