I see titles like this so often but usually it has a company’s name and says, “Talk Fusion,Is This a Scam?” or Zeek Rewards,Be Very Afraid!”
If Network Marketing companies are doing well, they will be called a scam to try and make you doubt it. Sometimes a title like that is a trick to get you to look, and it is actually an associate from that company just hoping you will check it out.
Personally, I never have liked that tactic. I like being truthful and sharing my business because I am passionate about what I believe in.

Love the video Beverly…you’re totally right about bashing other companies, that only has one consequence it makes you look unprofessional, VERY unprofessional and that isn’t great for your brand/business. I don’t disagree with people using scam in their headlines though, because when you look at keyword research, a lot of people are actually searching for that particular word, so someone’s got to cater to them!

Bashing is just ugly and makes you look bad.Who wants to work with negative people?

Hi Beverly,
There are scams out there, no doubt about it. However there are hundreds if not thousands of legitimate businesses out there. People who make “scam statements” are usually people who do not understand network marketing and have not taken the time to do any research. It isn’t professional to “put down” other companies due to ignorance. Network Marketing is a fabulous business! Great video Beverly!

Hi Beverley I love the start to this video. Interesting … I def do not agree with trashing other people or companies and agree there are different ones that will suit different people.
Sometimes people will use headlines to shock and the reasons you give for people being attracted to others are more important.
Also, you may find that if someone says ‘Review of …. MLM” it may not get readers but “Is ….. MLM a scam?” will.

Thanks Angus. I know many are just saying scam to get you to look but the bashing is never a good tactic in my opinion.

Beverly I totally agree, I totally hate that approach and won’t do it in my business! Too many people have used that badly. Better to lift up the profession and the people congratulate them on being involved, celebrate their enthusiasm, and be professional in your approach!

So agree. To me it is so unprofessional to bash other companies just to get ahead – or so they think! One thing I have noticed recently on some facebook groups people being negative about certain NWM companies. They think by trashing others companies they can grab more business!
Important to rise above this scamming approach and maintain a professional composure and continue to be enthusiastic and authentic about what you are doing. Also, get out of groups that tolerate this negative behaviour. Now time to get off my soap box!
