The Power Of Teamwork

Network Marketing Companies

Is a football team successful if they have people that look out for number one? People that want to get all the glory and say I make this team what it is. No, not in most cases. That is true in any team sport. The players must work together to become the best and most successful team in their sport. There will be leaders on the team, ones that are more talented or gifted but, they make sure they lead by helping everyone else.

I believe this is true in business too. There will always be someone leading but if they are a great leader they work with their team. They teach, they share, they help and they teach others to become leaders. Effective leaders are upfront and lead by positive example.

Ever heard of the Blue Angels? Now these guys must work as a team or their lives are at stake. The Blue Angels build every show around a center point and build their team around shared values. Without shared values, peak performance isn’t possible. Watch this video. Teamwork

How would you answer these questions about your team?

At what level does your team operate?

Is it time to raise the bar?

What is the level of trust on your team?

Does your team communicate openly and honestly?

Is your team ready to take off and reach new levels of success?

Are you?

    Beverly,
I love this video! I’ve watched alot of the videos on Simple Truths and this is one of my favorites. It truly does encompass the true meaning of teamwork. Trust, faith, belief all play huge roles in the Blue Angel’s performances. True dedication at work here.

Thanks for reminding me of this awesome video. I have a very good friend who flies so I understand some of the intricacies of these moves. Awesome,
    Val :)

    Hi Beverly,

I just saw the Blue Angels 2 weeks ago – Impressive! and very good example of teamwork at it’s finest. Being an “individual contributor” can only take us so far. Besides working together as a team is so much more fun too :)

Thanks for sharing. Have an awesome day! Laura

The best teams, the best tribes, definitely occur when they share common values. However, unfortunately theres a lot of teams that dont have their values together in a way that they actively live them, and theres a lot of people that jump into teams and start duplicating behaviors and absorbing values that they wouldnt if they were thinking. Lead with our heart but follow with our head. We must pick our leaders wisely or we lead to situations I went through recently where ones who seem to be leaders actually are talkin out of both sides of their mouth and not walking the talk. It can be hard to find people worth believing in today – but once we DO find them – we gotta stick by em like glue, people that understand that life is a team sport are more precious than gold!
