Great video as always Beverly. I love that you bring these tips to us as it truly makes a difference. Body language is something which comes naturally and that can easily be tweaked for good results with making a good impression with people. Thank you Beverly ;)

    Hi Beverly

A great reminder here about the importance of body language. Looking people in the eye is something I know I am working on.

Interesting to hear about different cultures …. and the reminder about how to be on video with our hands ;)

    Hi Beverly,
thank you for reminding us that body language counts for 94% of our communication ( non verbal communication) and we need to remember this with people from all over the world.
I just realized that in my last video I was holding my hands too tight near my chest I need to watch what I can improve!
    Thanks again Bev;)

    Great insight into body language.

I am very aware of how this can be effective and essential part of communication.

If you are talking to someone about your business, and they suddenly cross their arms, you have just said sometrhing they don’t like, or agree to.

    Spot it
Make it known (that they became defensive)
and ASK what it is about the last point they do not like.

Maybe they did not understand what the point is, and after talking about it they maybe fine – but without stopping, investigating, and repairing, you might as well pack up and go home.

If you don’t when you try to phone them to do a follow up you will find they have been abducted by aliens! (as in, you will never find them again…. must be off planet!)

Looking forward to the next installment.

    Thanks for shsring.

Since I have become more aware of my body language, I quickly change it when I realize I am standing with my arms crossed. That is a comfortable way to stand and I will do it sometimes.I never want to give off closed language. Glad you enjoyed it.
