Are You What You Think?

When I taught school,I was always telling my little 6 and 7 year old students that they could become anything they wanted,IF they worked hard. I told them that hard work and persistence would pay off for them. One of my favorite stories to read to them was The Little Engine That Could. Do you remember that story? Here it is on video for those of you that may not have read it before.

Just like this engine, if we keep going when our businesses get tough and NEVER quit, we too can reach our goals. Believe you can just like The Little Engine. Tell yourself, I Think I Can, I Think I Can… or even better say, I Know I Can,I Know I Can….

Every person reading this post can meet their goals with the correct Tools, Education, Leadership and Team. Sometimes you might need to ask for help from a coach and that’s okay. Never Quit and always move forward and you WILL SUCCEED just like The Little Engine.
A good friend of mine Frank Profeta, has a great post on this same subject. He even gives away a copy of the book titled As A Man Thinketh. Check his post too.
Please leave your comments below. I look forward to reading them.

Beverly, this story is awesome, I never came across it when I was a child myself. The principles are fantastic, you are what you believe you are and you can do whatever you believe you can do.

Great post, simple but so, so effective!

I know I can and I know you can!

    Hi Beverly,

That’s a good story with a good lesson. I remember it from childhood. Whatever you think about comes about.

    Hi Beverly,

I haven’t thought about this story in years! But it is definitely an oldie but goodie! I love the theme over never quitting and then ultimately reaching your goal! It’s always too soon to quit. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks so much for that video, talk about your flash from the past! Aside from my childhood issues, I am truly grateful for this reminder from you of what we can accomplish when we find the motivation, willingness and determination to push ahead, no matter what. Thanks so much for the inspiration!

Very inspirational, I think, i can. Once a person is continuously using his brain with a determined desire to achieve something, he will definitely achieve it as time passes by

    Hi Beverly,

    love your post and video.

It is so great that you are teaching this to children.

One saying that comes to mind is that “if you argue for your limitations, you get to keep them.”

Keep spreading the word – especially to children!

I KNOW I Can. I am slowly taking steps, every day, actually almost every hour lately, toward my goals and dreams. I am very much on purpose although sometimes the details seems to pull me in different directions, but actually lots of these litte pieces (I’m talking about building my online business with all it requires) are slowly falling into place and becoming interconnected.

Great Post Beverley – sometimes the vehicle needs a service or an upgrade but the attitude needs to remain in alignment with your vision and purpose

    Hi Beverly,
Almost nothing works the first time it’s attempted. Just because what you’re doing does not seem to be working, doesn’t mean it won’t work. It just means that it might not work the way you’re doing it. If it was easy, everyone would be doing it, and you wouldn’t have an opportunity. Therefore hard work and persistence are your key ingredients if things are not going the way you want.

    To Your Success,
