First I want to clarify that I am not calling anyone simple. I bet it got your attention and that is what I was aiming to do.
If you are a “Healthy Person” I bet you exercise and make good choices when it comes to your food. You probably keep up on the latest health trends, never binge on sugar, and never ever eat Fast Food. (at least hardly ever)
Everyone has a few unhealthy skeletons in their closet that you never knew existed. Watch the video to see what the “5 Simple Mistakes that Healthy People Make”.

As always Beverly you are giving terrific advise about staying lean. You hit home with a coupe of them for me.
Is there one day a week we can eat all the junk we want?
Just kidding….not really. LOL!
Thanks for the reminders.

Perhaps its the teacher in me, or maybe just the healer in me, but the title immediately made me want to leave and not watch the video. I’m not sure I want to watch something which refers to “stupid”ity. Whether intended or not, it does sound offensive and suggests to people they are idiots.
I did watch the video and have to ask: are they really stupid mistakes, or just simple mistakes that everyone makes? If a person learns from a mistake is it still stupid? I’m glad you made that clarification in the first several seconds of the video, but that kind of back peddling shouldn’t have be done by a professional. Perhaps a change such as: 1. leaving the title as “5 mistakes healthy people make.” would have been more professional, and you wouldn’t have had to back peddle, 2. instead of stupid, how about substituting the word “simple” which is kinder and will bring more people into your video.
Sorry to be a downer on this post. I’m sure the video is a valuable asset somewhere, but it hits a very narrow audience.
Good luck

Ken,
I appreciate your concerns about my title and I understand what you are saying. I actually was hoping the title would create more interest.Catchy titles do that for me. As a former teacher I see what you are saying and I think changing the title may be something I do.I never want to offend anyone and the word stupid might. Thanks for your comment.

Beverly,
Thanks so much for the great advice. I think my biggest “stupid mistake” is eating out at fast food restaurants too much. Many times I do that, when it would be just as easy to go home for lunch and eat something really healthy. I appreciate all of the great tips you give us to keep us on track. Thanks again and take care.

These are all common mistakes that people make. It’s always good to hear them over and over so we eventually stop making those mistakes.
Thanks for the reminder.

Hi Beverly!
I really enjoyed your video. I know some people may be offended by your use of the word stupid. However, in my opinion, it’s a word used by many people in casual conversation every day! We all know how you meant it. Keep up the good work!

Thanks Jackie. I decided to change it because offending people is not something I want to do.

After all, it’s just a “stupid” word! lol

Beverly,
I must admit that I didn’t like some of the comments left by other visitors, I felt like they were a bit harsh. Now, after viewing the video, I am 50/50.
I liked the information a lot, people need to hear what you have to say. I do agree with some of the others though, maybe rephrase or eliminate the “stupid” part. I believe the viewer is already thinking that anyway, and it doesn’t need to be re-iterated to get results.
Otherwise, excellent video, excellent content and I’ll be back for more. Please visit my blog to view two recent articles I wrote on Ellagic Acid and Resveratrol, amazing primary anti-oxidants that everyone needs in today’s polluted environment.

Hi Beverly ~ Great tips, I couldn’t agree more! I actually suggest to people to drink at least 16oz. of water immediately when you wake up ~ we wake up SO dehydrated and if this simple step alone will dramatically increase your energy naturally in the morning! And then of course carry around a water bottle everywhere so it’s always on your mind….we all know out of sight out of mind, so keep it right in front of you and you’ll be far more likely to stay hydrated and healthy!
As a former personal trainer, all your tips are right on ~ thank you for sharing this important message!
